Klamath Woman, 1923
This is a mixed media drawing that my friend Pei Lin Yu did for me about twenty years ago. At the time she was working as an archeologist for our local USDA Forest Service district. She had a bookshelf full of volumes of old photos of Indian people. This drawing was made from a black and white photo of a Klamath Woman which I believe was dated 1923. This drawing hangs in one of the exam rooms at my office.
